    Research Interests:

    		 Dr. Lin’s research interests center on family structure and child well-being, intergenerational exchanges, child support policies, and the quality of survey data. She is currently looking at the long-term consequences of growing up in a single-parent family on next generation parenting and the patterns and determinants of reciprocal helping behavior between generations in American and Taiwanese families.
